Privacy Notice pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003:
Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003 (Legislative Decree 196/2003) sets forth provisions for the protection of individuals and other legal entities with regard to the processing of personal data. Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, we hereby inform you that the aforementioned company processes the personal data of customers, suppliers, and individuals who voluntarily provide us with their personal information, and in doing so, complies with legal requirements to safeguard the fundamental rights, freedoms, and dignity of data subjects and legal entities, particularly with regard to confidentiality and the right to protection of personal data.
Purpose of data processing:
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
Compliance with obligations prescribed by civil and/or tax laws, rules, regulations, and EU provisions.
Fulfillment of contractual obligations toward the data subject.
Carrying out activities related to or serving the business operations of our company.
Protection of claims and management of liabilities.
Facilitating and processing the guest’s reservation; managing the guest’s stay; tailoring the stay to the guest’s preferences and interests; enabling us to offer services in the future that align with the guest’s interests; marketing related to the hotel’s services and improving the hotel’s services
Type of data processing:
Personal data is processed and stored for the purposes stated herein in paper form or using electronic and/or telematic tools or procedures. In any case, processing is carried out in accordance with the minimum security measures set forth in the “technical measures” of Legislative Decree 196/2003, so that the security and confidentiality of the data in question are guaranteed.
Transfer and Dissemination of Data:
Pursuant to Government Decree 196/2003, in particular Article 13, the Company may, when necessary, transfer personal data to domestic and/or foreign natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private entities, provided that this serves the purpose of conducting our business or fulfilling the specified purposes. Our company does not generally disclose personal data.
To service providers and their agents who offer cloud-based software and data processing solutions for the hotel and who, on behalf of the hotel, analyze and process guest data (for the purposes stated above)
Rights pursuant to Government Decree No. 196/2003, Art. 7:
Please note that Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, within the framework of and subject to Articles 8, 9, and 10 of the aforementioned decree, grants specific rights to the data subject. The data subject has the right to obtain information regarding whether data concerning him or her exists, even if such data has not yet been stored. He or she also has the right to have this data communicated to him or her in an intelligible form:
1) The data subject has the right to obtain information regarding:
a) the source of the personal data;
b) the purpose and methods of processing;
c) the logic applied, if the data is processed electronically;
d) the main details identifying the data controller, the data processors, and the designated representative within the meaning of Article 5, paragraph 2;
e) the persons or categories of persons to whom the personal data may be disclosed or who, as representatives designated within the national territory, as data controllers, or as data processors, may become aware of such data.
2) The data subject has the right to:
a) to request that the data be updated, corrected, or, if applicable, supplemented;
b) to request that unlawfully processed data be deleted, anonymized, or blocked, which also applies to data whose retention is not necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed;
c) to receive confirmation that the processing operations specified in subparagraphs (a) and (b), including their content, have been communicated to those to whom the data have been disclosed or to whom they have been disseminated, unless this proves impossible or would involve a disproportionate effort compared to the right being protected.
3) The data subject has the right, in whole or in part:
a) to object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her;
b) to object to the processing of personal data concerning them if such processing is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sales, for market or opinion research, or for commercial information.
The rights set forth in Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 may be exercised at any time by contacting the Data Protection Officer listed above, either by certified mail or by email to the email address provided above.
Data Controller:
The owner and controller of the data is the aforementioned company, represented by its legal representative.
